What is the Twitterhood?

Welcome to a constantly expanding visual representation of the Twitterhood, as I call the group of people whom I follow! This is like a fixed directory, by category, of the neighbours and neighbors of the Twitterhood, any or all of whom you may like to get to know!

Individuals are grouped by common factors and may appear in more than one zone for that reason. As you can see to the upper left, I appear on all pages as Admin and you can find out all about this website and participation in it by clicking on the text link there.

There are various ways to get around the site, including the A to Z Listing,  Zone Map and the arrows leading off in all directions from every zone - different people like to navigate in different ways - you'll soon discover what suits you best.

Participants are linked to their Twitter profiles via their avatars (pictures) so that you can take a look and decide whether to follow them or not.

Everything external opens in new windows so you can look without leaving the Twitterhood.

The text link beneath the avatar is unlinked for non-paying individuals and is linked to an external website or blog for those who have made the small contribution requested.

Businesses are asked for a slightly more generous contribution and everyone is included for 12 months. You might wonder why pay to be in the equivalent of a 2-dimensional directory when there are several other directories offering free inclusion and there is one excellent reason: In other directories, the addition of new submissions pushes the existing ones down the list and into obscurity.

If enough people will be so kind as to purchase spaces or contribute towards the project, I will be able to continue to keep advertising off the site...

The national flag, national flag plus state or regional flag or a globe icon represents the location stated in the Twitter profile.

Your paid position in the Twitterhood is secured for the period for which you have contracted it and you will be visible in your chosen spot regardless of whoever else is included. Those who are included for free will be subject to being moved around to make spaces available for paying members if necessary.
