| Leisure time is precious to
those who know that one of the secrets of a good life is to know how to
strike a balance...work hard when you work and play with the carefree
pleasure of a child when you play. Different people like to use their free
time in different ways. In this section we limit ourselves to those
pursuits that can be followed by those who are living aboard a boat,
whether permanently or on holiday.
At the moment we have quizzes, a signal flag puzzle, a
picture puzzle for youngsters, a rogues gallery put together for our
second issue, our library bookshelves for those who like a
good read and an introduction to Mr. Hobbes...

Test
your nautical knowledge with Quizzicles... With each new issue we add
another In-Quiz-Ition for the In-Quiz-Itive to the Quizzicles section.
Each is a ten-question quiz. The answers are contained in the pages of the
issue with the same number as the In-Quiz-Ition. If you have been paying
attention you should be able to answer all the questions, even if you
weren't already able to before you read the magazine. There is a handy
link to each answer so that you can check your success with a quick click. The
knowledge itself is the prize!

We invited Forum Contributors from
Yachting
and Boating World to send in a photograph. The names and photographs are
listed separately. The idea is to try and fit the faces to the names...

The librarian will direct you to the
bookshelves, where you will find reviews of books on topics that may be of
interest to you. Your reviews of books, old and new are very welcome, too.

Movie fans may like to check out the At Anchor pages
(Film Buffs/DVD The Film CD and Video Rentals) in the
Lay Days section of each issue, as may those who are interested in card and board
games (Games We Play).
Computer games are included on the Soft Options page in the Computer
section. There's something for (almost) everyone
and we are all ears if you have suggestions for additional diversions,
too...
