| If you recognize this as a new version of
the MarineZine you saw before on a different site (which no longer houses
any version of this magazine) and are wondering what happened.... it's a
long story but we were obliged to close the magazine down in 2001.
We have shortened the name to MarineZine from the longer
name that included this name to avoid litigation with some guy in the
United States of America that has decided that the use of the word Sea in
the name of a nautical publication is his exclusive province. Rather than
enter into protracted litigation, we have decided to take this opportunity
to shorten the name.
As the magazine is no longer our only website, we
decided to house all our sites and some client sites on
one domain. Using this domain name should, at least, prevent American
lawyers from threatening to stop us ever being able to have a presence on
the Internet again! Yes, folks, that was the deal!
We'll be bringing out Issue 3 just as soon as we can -
if you have any material to contribute, we'll be delighted to receive it.
