We are pleased to be able to tell you that we recently
donated an evening aboard Leopard Normand III, complete with a slap-up
meal for four, to be raffled in aid of the victims of the horrendous
tsunami tragedy in the Far East. Altogether, that evening's raffle, at
MacGowan's Restaurant in Almerimar, Almerķa in the south of Spain,
scooped almost four thousand euros!
We continue to invite your pledges of valuable prizes that
can be raffled at US$10 per ticket in order to raise funds that can be
made available to help shipwrecked mariners and their families when,
through circumstances beyond their control, they are temporarily
distressed. Once enough pledges have been received we will go ahead with
arranging the next stage of the organization.
