Have things changed since you became involved in shipping and, if so, how? Come to that, how did you get involved in shipping in the first place? Whatever the part you play, or have played in cargo, leisure, military or public service shipping we'd love to hear all about it.

Commercial This section is all about the commercial shipping industry of today, yesterday and, (if anyone likes to let us in on developments,) the 21st century. These are the pages for anything from the mega-supertanker to the tiniest pilot vessel, salvage ships, oil rigs, container vessels, cargo ships, barges, you name it.

Our Carrying On page takes us for a look at cargo vessels, from local schooners to super-tankers and the people who crew them.

Digging Deep
is where we join the community which devotes its efforts to exploiting the resources below the sea bed and Tugs Barge In  involves us in everything from the daily routines of harbour tugs to the daring exploits of salvage crews.

Leisure is where we'll talk about cruise ships, passenger liners, hydrofoils, ferries, canal and river transport, you name it. Cruise Ship will cater for huge live-aboard holiday-maker-transporters and Gosh How Posh with the shorter term rides and smaller vessels, from the Gondolas of Venice to the fast catamaran ferries of the Caribbean.

Shades Of Grey is about vessels which belong to the taxpayer's domain, warships, coastguard vessels, for example, and their crews. In Aye, Aye Sir we'll meet the navies of the world, in On Guard we'll join the coastguards and life-boatmen and in Up Periscope we'll sink to new depths...
