We invite you to write us a pen portrait describing any man, woman or child of the sea, living or dead, famous, infamous or unknown!  Anyone who inspires you to write about them, including yourself!

In this issue we have portraits of Lennox Taylor and his son, Dwight Taylor of the lovely Caribbean island of Bequia and one of Utz Müller-Treu, German four-times circumnavigator.

We will be glad to receive short pieces as well as longer portraits. You can include photographs and/or drawings with the text if you like. Send in as many essays as you like but remember that each one should be about one individual only, mentioning others only as they relate to that person. Self-portraits will also be welcomed.
