Keith 'Robbie' Robinson, Executive Editor,
welcomes you to the second issue of MarineZine.com ...
Ahoy there!
Well, however else one might be able to
describe recent events in our cyber-world, dull is not a word that
springs readily to the lips...
Challenging might be one way of describing a
situation where the work of around 2000 hours vanishes without trace.
That wasn't the first word to come up, though, I can assure you.
"These things are sent to try
us." I muttered to the Managing Editor, desperately searching for
something soothing to say. "Ah," she replied, "I always
wonder about that. Are these things sent to try us or are we sent to try
these things...?"
What matters is that the second issue found it's way onto the website
- not just once but three times, to reach you now - much of it
different from the
planned content, but we like to think you'll enjoy it just as much as the
material we had prepared before and, although the whole magazine
then has had to remain offline for almost two years, we like to think it's back to
stay. We certainly hope so!
We'd like to thank everyone who has been
in contact with us, providing articles, photographs and messages of
support. We hope you will find the way we have presented the material
with which you have entrusted us to your liking and that you will send
in still more. This magazine will flourish if everyone puts a little
something into the melting pot of ideas, stories, information and
fun.
Thank you for browsing through the
MarineZine. If this is your first visit, thank you for coming. If it isn't
your first visit, thank you for coming back. We hope you'll return
often, to dip into the contents of this and other issues.
All the best,
Keith 'Robbie' Robinson
Executive Editor
