Interested in knowing about sites with interesting
material on them? We've been having a look around... Although we go to a
lot of trouble to check sites out before linking to them, remember always to ask your parent, guardian or teacher if it is alright
for you to visit a new website before going there for the first time.
Did you know that an Emperor penguin can stay underwater for up to twenty minutes? That was just one of the things we discovered
at Animaland so, if you're interested in animals of all kinds, remember the address!
It's http://www.animaland.org
You'll need to have, or download Macromedia Flash to
view this site.
Another fun website for animal lovers can
be found at the site run by the publishers of the monthly Zoobooks
magazine. Although
the site is mainly there to promote the magazine, there is plenty to look
at online.
If you like dinosaurs, you'll love Brian
Bongey's Dinosaur Fact Files... or the Enchanted
Learning Dinosaur Pages? Like paper folding? How about Download
A Dinosaur where you can get patterns to print out and make your own
paper dinosaurs?
Do you like doing experiments? Try some of
the ones you'll find at the Exploratorium!
Want
to know all about something? Well, how would you like to be able to ask an
expert? We've found a really great site out there that we think you're
going to love! Go for it!
Here's another great site we've
discovered...
Do you have the addresses of great websites
for youngsters? Share them with all of us - we'd really like to hear about
good places to go on the web. We check out every website before putting
the addresses in MarineZine, to make sure they are worth a visit and to
keep our pages safely away from sites that don't belong in a wholesome
family environment.
