 Help us to give praise where it is
due. If you can recommend any marina,
anywhere on earth, and tell us why you'd go there again, it will appear
on the Marina Notes page. The marina which gains the most praise during
the year will take place of honour, on this page, if there is a tie
we'll let the two marinas share the accolade - if there are more than
two in the tie, we'll put it to our readers for a final vote.
We will pass your criticisms along in private to give Marinas the opportunity to work on
improvements.
They will know when they get it right because their Marina will start appearing in the ratings list
in Marina Notes and they'll know when they're the tops when they hear
that they have made it to this page!
If Marina Managers want to know how the popular Marinas are getting your votes, they
should be able to get a pretty good idea on these pages if not able to visit popular Marinas
personally.
No matter where in the world your favourite Marinas are, tell us about them. Please give as detailed a description as you have time
for.
We will be glad to announce, in each issue the Marina which has received the most accolades from their visitors and what seems to be the source of their
popularity. If you are pressed for time, you can just say which Marina or Marinas you like best and which
least, to add your vote to the whole.
Perhaps we'll end up with a Top Ten Marinas list? If you happen to be able to
e-mail us any photographs, so much the better! We know it takes time
and effort to write but you don't need to worry about flowery speech -
we can always edit if needs be - the important thing is to participate,
in the hopes of helping to improve cruising stopovers for everyone.
