Armed with a basic knowledge of how Windows programs work and some elementary understanding of mathematic functions, you should find Chemistry Assistant fairly easy to use. 
It is an expression calculator for fast calculation of molecular weight of compounds by simple entry of chemical formula.
The program translates the texts with chemical element symbols or without them into a mathematical expression and calculates them.

There is an intelligent routine that translates the symbols of elements written in lower case into correct chemical formula. 
The result of the translation will be entered into the entry field and calculated, or the program will report an error. 
The Chemistry Assistant contains a list with task history, storing all the recent inputs and results. All of the calculations can be saved and recalled again. 

The calculator also provides a list of common physical constants and performs various conversions between English and metric units. 
Make sure you have the file MSVBVM50.DLL in Windows/System, before installing this application.
