The feature that makes this application
different from any of the others in this category is the extensive tool
tips (unfortunately the screen capture does not show them!) that appear
wherever you hover on the interface. If image manipulation is new
territory to you, this may be an ideal application to teach yourself
with.
If you click on this series of thumbnail pictures the
full-sized versions will open, so that you can take a look at the
interface in various modes.
The viewer selects files in alphabetical order of shortest file names first, followed by progressively longer ones, rather than in the order in which they appear in the directory, so that PO00034 would appear after PO00033, in spite of the fact that there was a file between them
in the directory called PO00033a... it may be possible to choose a different selection mode, we did not have time to explore further.
You can also create a CD full of images, include JPegger
on the CD and send it to someone, knowing that they will be able to view
the images conveniently.
