DINK SMALLWOOD

Seth at RTsoft says that the only things removed from this special downloadable version that are in the full commercially-sold version are the intro.avi, which actually had nothing to do with the story anyway, just Dragons flying around etc., some pictures of himself, friends and family, and about 20 minutes of CD audio which he has replaced with .mid files. Explaining why a product that was previously sold for profit should now be available as freeware, Seth says that he feels he has profited enough from the program:
he wants to get into the habit of "making stuff free a year or two after it is released, if the software is not actively being worked on. This way many people can enjoy it before it is totally obsolete." Good philosophy!

RT Soft state the requirements listed as a minimum but say that, for optimum fun, they recommend 1100 MHz processor; 512 MB RAM; 100x DVD-ROM; 170 GB free hard drive space; DirectX 8 compatible video and wave-table-sound card; Windows 2000; Gamepad... Well, if you do not happen to possess such a fabulous set-up, perhaps your local community centre has one?! If not, you will doubtless do fine with the minimum setup and a little patience.
