As soon as this address/phone/e-mail book opened, after an easy installation, we knew we had found just the contact book we
had always wanted. (Click on thumbnails to see full-size images).

Two things struck us immediately:
1) To our joy, the book is laid out more like a 'real' one than most computer contact books, which assume that e-mail will be your primary means of staying in touch. Instead of scrolling past endless addresses in alphabetical order, you can turn immediately to the appropriate letter of the alphabet, with each letter standing alone, each entry
receiving a whole page to itself and the opportunity to create as many pages to each letter as anyone, even the most avid address collector, could want.
2) You can have as many different address books within Phone deck as you want. Instead of wading through your partner's friends and acquaintances, searching for your own, each member of the household can have a separate
.dck file and, if you prefer to keep your close family and other personal addresses separate from those of acquaintances or business contacts, you can keep several separate
.dck files for each category. Someone suggested a Christmas Card .dck and someone else thought it would be good to keep a different
.dck file for each of the countries he visits regularly (three). You will, doubtless, think of your own uses for this wonderful application.

Entering information is easy and we love the fact that there is no limit on the number of addresses you can store in the 'book' and yet it is still easy to find the address you are looking for. We hate address books with X,Y,Z all on one page, as though those letters did not merit a page to themselves!

You can navigate easily, edit with equal ease and 'lock' any address you are afraid of editing by mistake, (you can still unlock it when you want to)
you can choose how matters such as repeated addresses or identical names
should be attended to and there are plenty more excellent features.
This superb personal address
book beats anything else on offer, at any price, let alone free,
for simplicity and ease of use, in our opinion

Incidentally, Marek Jedlinski, the author, has changed
his address since creating this software and can now be contacted at marekjed@ pobox.com
