REVIEWS
Where we know and love a particular book, we like to share our views on it with anyone who'd like to know. All books on this site that occupy a page to themselves are reviewed individually on their pages, like this one for example, and any of the titles on offer include links to the customer reviews on Amazon's site, like this one, for example. You'll also find lots of our reviews in the library section of MarineZine and topics of all kinds are included, alongside the obvious array of nautical titles. There are reviews of Fine Art books at Soane Fine Art Consultant's Stores. Here's a link to the book at Amazon: The Skipper will probably end up ploughing his way through half a dozen related books. He seems to be in the grip of some sort of Da Vinci fever but he also enjoyed Digital Fortress, by the same author, which surprised him as he would never have thought a book about computers could hold his attention for even a nanosecond! We also welcome YOUR reviews of any book already on this site or that you feel we ought to include at books@linnetwoods.com We invite you to e-mail us with your comments, from a single sentence that sums up your opinion to a full-blown review of any book you have enjoyed, or not, as the case may be, on any subject. Books that get good reviews will be included on this page and on others linked to it and we will provide direct links to enable you to purchase the books online at Amazon so that you can read them for yourself. |
