Some writers and publishers permit potential purchasers of their books to read one or more chapters before deciding whether to buy or not. Some authors are happy to allow you to read the entire book online, chapter by chapter, in the hopes that you will decide to purchase the whole book in preference to spending so much time on the Internet! You may not be able to download files, for one reason or another, but may still have access to the Internet, so you can still enjoy reading a book on the computer, perhaps a chapter at a time. We are proud to launch this page by presenting our own edition of the delightful story of 'A Dog of Flanders', written in 1872 by Ouida, as an online read. If you would prefer to download the book to read offline, join our club - it's free! Members can download a free copy of the Microsoft Reader (.lit) version of the book. If you don't already have the free Microsoft Reader software, you can easily visit our software page and download it. If you find good any good books available for online reading on other sites, we'll be happy to hear about them and create links to a selection of those that are on offer at any given time.
