At the start there were only seven or eight people participating, there were no prizes and no points awarded but, before many days had passed, the numbers participating increased and @linnetwoods decided to create a structure that would give everyone an even chance of joining in, as and when they felt like it and to compete with each other.

Once there were points being awarded, a way of displaying them was required and so was an explanation for any newcomer interested in participating. Sponsors started to emerge from amongst a growing Twitterhood and it became imperative to show what was involved centrally, rather than trying to repeat the information in a succession of tweets.

A couple of hours spent web mangling produced the requisite pages and, over time a fair number of people came and went - some answering just one question, others throwing themselves wholeheartedly into the competition.

As the first series was drawing to a close, @linnetwoods decided to create a small website specifically designed for the quiz and include it in the new Twitterhood website, a project that has been underway behind the scenes for quite some time, being developed whenever time permitted.
